The FR-5 CORK TECH XTS is a versatile foldable pole suitable for a variety of outdoor activities in all seasons. With this model it is possible to practice from trekking to ski mountaineering, from quiet excursions with snowshoes to the wildest splitboarding. Designed and built to perform at their best on multi-day hikes and in the most extreme conditions, the FR-5 Cork Tech is also an indispensable tool for mountain experts and mountain guides. The pole consists of three aluminum sections of 18, 16 and 14 mm in diameter that can be folded in an instant thanks to the WIRED technology. When closed this model measures only 39 cm and is easily transportable inside a backpack with minimum bulk. Thanks to the ultra-tight FAST LOCK clamp, you will be able to vary the length of the first section of the pole according to your needs with a very simple gesture. The anti-sweat cork handle is accompanied by a soft foam extension (SOFT) to provide additional and comfortable support during the steepest climbs. Finally, the CARBIDE tungsten tip ensures optimal grip even on the most uneven or slippery terrain while the supplied wheels are interchangeable according to winter or summer use.
